CAMEX-3 DC-8 NAVIGATION (DADS) DATA

The CAMEX-3 DC-8 Data Acquisition and Distribution System (DADS) Navigation dataset contains parameters gathered on each DC-8 flight made during CAMEX-3. Data is collected about aircraft parameters including but not limited to airpeed, altitude, lat/lon, groundspeed. Also included are measurements of atmospheric parameters including (but not limited to) temperature, pressure, and flight level winds . These data were collected and recorded for each second of the flight. They should be used with each CAMEX-3 instrument dataset, but can stand alone for preparation of flight tracks and position with respect to meteorological features.
