The Global Hydrology Resource Center is currently archiving two-line element set data for a number of weather satellites. These data form a database which is accessed by various programs to compute orbits. The database is updated daily from data received from the Orbital Information Group at Goddard Space Flight Center. The archive site does not always provide daily data, so only "new" element sets are added to the database when they are received. The GHRC archives currently extend backward only to 1980.

The satellites in the archive database include the following:

AQUA
AURA
DMSP 2-3 (F8)
DMSP 2-5 (F10)
DMSP 2-6 (F11)
DMSP 2-7 (F12)
DMSP 2-8 (F13)
DMSP 2-9 (F14)
DMSP 2-10 (F15)
ENVISAT
ERBS
ERS-1
ERS-2
GOES 7
GOES 8
GOES 9
GOES 10
ICESAT
Landsat 4
Landsat 5
METEOR 3-6
Microlab 1
NIMBUS 7
NOAA 6
NOAA 7
NOAA 8
NOAA 9
NOAA 10
NOAA 11
NOAA 12
NOAA 14
NOAA 15
NOAA 16
NOAA 17
NOAA 18
QuikSCAT
TERRA
TIROS N
TOMS-EP
TRMM
Topex/Poseidon

New element sets are currently being fetched only for those satellites listed in white above. Element sets for the remainder of the satellites are kept in the database for archival reference, but no new ones are being added.

We're sorry, but we are unable to provide users with TLEs. Most TLEs can be downloaded from Dr. Kelso's site, http://celestrak.com. TLEs for DMSP satellites have been declared "sensitive" by the U.S. Government and are not available to the general public.
